MailClients IMAP/SMTP

Information on how to set up and configure following Email Clients.

You can also access the Mail with our Webmail Client (without configuring anything ).

Email Configuration

You should use the following settings to receive and send mail with your account :

IMAP	Server:	`imap.ee.ethz.ch`
	Port:	`993`
	Encryption:	`SSL` a.k.a. `SSL/TLS`
	Supported Authentication Types:	`PLAIN, LOGIN` a.k.a. `Normal password`
	Username:	use your plain `username` without @domainsuffix

SMTP	Server:	`smtp.ee.ethz.ch`
	Port:	`587` (with Outlook: `465`)
	Encryption:	`TLS` a.k.a. `STARTTLS` (with Outlook: `SSL`)
	Supported Authentication Types:	`PLAIN, LOGIN` a.k.a. `Normal password`
	Username:	use your plain `username` without @domainsuffix

$/!\$ Do not use smtp.ee.ethz.ch port 25 for your Thunderbird, Pine, Mutt, Apple Mail, Outlook, Entourage Email Software!
