How to disable KDE desktop search service?
Problem
When login under GNOME under Debian Wheezy my Desktop Icons which I used to see and are still under ~/Desktop are not shown anymore.
Solution
Start the dconf-editor
Move to org -> gnome -> desktop -> background
Mark item Show desktop symbols
