GNOME Desktop icons disappeared
Problem
When I login with GNOME my Desktop Icons which I used to see and are still under ~/Desktop are not shown anymore.
Solution
Start the dconf-editor
Move to org -> gnome -> desktop -> background
Set item show-desktop-icons to "true"
