Configuration of the Pine/Alpine command line email client
- Start Pine/Alpine in your shell.
- Press s to enter Setup.
- Press c to enter the configuration mode.
- move to "Inbox Path" using the cursor keys of your keyboard. Press the enter key.
Type (without ") "imap.ee.ethz.ch/user=USERNAME/ssl". Confirm with the enter key.
- (Al)Pine now asks for the name of the inbox. Type (without ") "Inbox". Finish the configuration by pressing the enter key.
- Press the left cursor key to leave the configuration menue. Pine asks you to save the new settings. Press "Y" (without ").
- Restart Pine/Alpine
