= Problem =
In Thunderbird some specific emails are not shown whereas they appear in another client (e.g. our [[https://email.ee.ethz.ch|Webmail Client]]). Why is this so and what can i do?

= Solution =
Sometimes the folder index (.msf) file becomes damaged and messages may appear missing or deleted messages continue showing. Repairing the folder may fix these issues.

 * In Thunderbird select the folder where you miss emails and right-click.
 * Choose {{{properties}}}
 * Then click on {{{Repair Folder}}}
